The Kikkoman Group is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of soy sauce, seasonings, beverages, wine, and food products. The company's business consists of four business segments. The Domestic Food Products Business segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of soy sauce, soy sauce-related seasonings such as tsuyuyu and sauce, processed Del Monte tomatoes, canned goods, and foodstuffs for professional use; the manufacture and sale of vegetable and fruit beverages and soy milk drinks; and the manufacture and sale of mirin, wine, and other alcoholic beverages. The Domestic Other Business segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of pharmaceuticals and chemical products, real estate leasing, logistics, and the provision of indirect operations. The Overseas Grocery Manufacturing and Sales segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of soy sauce overseas, the manufacture and sale of processed Del Monte tomatoes and canned goods, and the manufacture and sale of other food products, including health foods. The overseas food wholesaling business is engaged in the purchase and sale of oriental foods, etc. in Japan and overseas. |
