The company's principal business is the production, sale, distribution and exhibition of theatrical films, management of movie theaters and shops, production and sales of TV movies, planning and production of commercials, production, editing and broadcasting of software for broadcasting satellite (BS), communications satellite (CS) and cable television (CATV), and satellite backbone system. The company is in charge of broadcasting, general broadcasting, production, acquisition, and sales of video software, and planning, production, and agency of advertising. Theatrical films are produced, traded, and distributed by the company, as well as produced by Shochiku Studio, a subsidiary, and exhibited by Shochiku Multiplex Theatres, a subsidiary. Theatrical kiosks will be managed by Shochiku Multiplex Theatres, a subsidiary of the company. TV commercials will be produced and marketed by Shochiku Studio and produced by Shochiku Studio. Shochiku Studio will be in charge of planning and production of commercials for movies and television. |
