The IHI Group consists of IHI and its affiliates (152 consolidated subsidiaries and 30 equity-method affiliates), and is engaged in four main businesses: Mineral Resources, Energy, and Environment; Social Infrastructure and Marine; Industrial Systems and General Machinery; and Aerospace, Space, and Defense. In the Natural Resources, Energy and Environment Business, the Company manufactures, sells, and provides services for boilers, power plants, land and marine power plants, large marine power plants, gas processing (storage facilities and chemical plants), nuclear power plants (nuclear power equipment), environmentally friendly systems, and pharmaceutical plants. In the social infrastructure and marine business, the company manufactures, sells, and provides services for bridges, sluice gates, shield machines, transportation systems, urban development (real estate sales and leasing), and floating LNG (floating LNG storage facilities and offshore structures). In the Industrial Systems & General Machinery segment, the Company manufactures, sells, and provides services for marine machinery, logistics and industrial systems, transportation equipment, parking equipment, steelmaking machinery, industrial machinery, heat and surface treatment equipment, paper manufacturing equipment, vehicle turbochargers, compressors, separation equipment, marine turbochargers, construction equipment, agricultural machinery, small motors, and other products. In the aviation, space and defense business, the company manufactures, sells, and provides services for aero engines, rocket systems and space applications (space development-related equipment), defense equipment systems, and other products. In other businesses, the Company is engaged in the manufacture, sale, provision of services, and service of equipment and systems for communication, electronics, electrical measurement, and information processing. |
